Pre-Assignment : Eco Report
For the theme, choose one from among "Energy", "Measures Toward Atmospheric Warming", and "Environmental Protection and Ecosystem Issues" for the year 2020. A report is to be submitted as a school.

1. "Energy"
Energy is essential for our daily lives and for the growth of society. Given that fact, how we face the issue of energy from now on is extremely important.The demand for energy is expected to grow with the increase in the world's population and the further development of society. What do we need to do to handle this?

2. "Measures Toward Atmospheric Warming"
We now face the problems of warming on a global scale and the resulting atmospheric changes. Further, it cannot be said that the causes of those problems are clear. However, if we wait until they are without doing anything, it may be too late. Thus we are now attempting to control the most likely causes such as excessive energy use and the massive release of carbon gasses.

3. "Environmental Protection and Ecosystem Issues"
Humans are only one of the species living on this planet. We evolved to survive in the comfortable environment provided by the Earth. However, isn't our life style the greatest cause of the current unbalance of the Earth's ecosystem? What do we need to do in considering the sustainability of Earth's environment?

[Deadline]
The announcement of the Pre-assignment Eco Report will be also posted on the “INFORMATION” section of the act-eco.net website. Each school must upload their report on the website by July 15, through “Eco Report” pages.
