After I came back home from Thailand, many things in my life have changed.
One of them is a really surprising coincidence. My school used to be located in the centre of Warsaw, in an office building, where we had no contact with nature. But since September 2011, the Academic High School at Polish Japanese Institute of Information Technology has been relocated. Now we have a new school, with a big garden, tall trees and lots of other plants, so our environment is much more green than before. We also organised an event, aiming to clean our neighboorhood by collecting garbage.
I introduced principles for recycling in my family, so now we use the organic waste in my granparents' garden and segregate other garbage. We changed our daily habits to reduce the amount of water and electricity we use.
Some of my friends from school were inspired by the things I told them, for example one of them resigned to use public transport, and he bought rollerblades to travel to school (it takes him the same amount of time as going by bus).
I am glad I could inspire some people to change their habits and change their lives to be more ecological.
I won't stop making effort, to make our world a better place, and I will share my triumphs with you.
