God-Grandpa Kang

I interviewed my god grandfather who is my god mother's god father. (I know, it's confusing). Nothing drastic really changed 50 years ago from now. He lived in the same apartment but he now owns a house in upstate New York in Woodstock. The house was bought about 5 years ago and it was primarily for his son, who was born with pulmonary artresia (missing a pulmonary artery). He has may disabilities and needed to live in  quieter area such as Woodstock , a place for rich and/or retired peple because half of the people who own houses there are either retired or use it as their weekend house away from the city. WIth such a defect, it is a wonder that he survived passed the age of 5 and he is now in his early thirties. He went through surgery when he was born with a 10 percent of succeeding and he survived.  Then he became a pescatarian and became healthier when he was in his teens. Then when his father (my god gradfather) met my god mother, they began to change their eating habits. They encouraged eating organic foods and buying products like eggs that are labeled cage free. My god grandpa's family was always a huge advocate of the greener world. After his wife retired, she decided that she would become a volunteer who advocates greener policies such as impeding more off shore gas drilling. She volunteered countless hours in the city to make the world more ecofriendly. My god grandfather is also an advocate but he doesn't quite volunteer as much as his wife. He purchases green products such as ENERGY STAR products and is currently working on investing in a geothermal and solar energy in their house in Woodstock.
