Interview my Dad , Past And Now

My father stays with me in Lampang. He is 51 years old. I asked him about his childhood.

                In the past , my father lived in Phetburi in the Central Region of Thailand. He had many brothers and sisters and he was the eighth. Before they used little energy and people did everything mostly by themselves , such as , if they needed to cook some food , they should ignite by charcoal. Washing clothes was done by hands. His house had fluorescents , but some family had to use candles or lamps because bulbs were expensive at that time. People used bicycles or walk for short distance and trains for far distance.

                He helped his dad and mom fed the cows , pigs and chickens for sale and cooked foods to saved money.

                Now, there are many technologies that give convenience, such as washing machines, electric stoves and light bulbs that replaced candles or the old stove. The use of energy increases more than past. People that use bicycles decreased and people using motorcycles and cars  increase more and more. It influences human use of so much gasoline.

                Finally, I think now people compete with time because human need facilities and neccessities. Because of these , we may forget to think about our energy use that is a problem determinant of own environment , such as Global warming.
