Global warming, ecological destruction, global population growth, economic problems such issues are laying in front of us waiting to be solved. How can human sustain this world by being friendly to the earth? The earthquake disaster of Japan, the flood of Thailand, etc. we were made to consider that Achieving Harmony with the Earth.

This task will encourage participants who will become leading players in next coming generation to know the problems which already exist and draw them further into a key of solution.

As part of Toshiba's commitment to creating a just and sustainable planet, the conference brought together students and teachers from around the world to participate in a week-long program exploring solutions to global environmental challenges. The 2009 and 2010 participants were from Japan, Poland, Thailand, and the United States.
