Global warming, ecological destruction, global population growth, economic problems. These issues are placed in front of us waiting to be solved. How can humanity sustain this world while being friendly to the earth ?

This goal will encourage the participants, who will become leading players in the next generation, to know the problems which already exist and enable them to imagine the keys for solutions.

As part of Toshiba's commitment to creating a just and sustainable planet, the conference brought together students and teachers from around the world to participate in a week-long program exploring solutions to global environmental challenges. The 2009 and 2010 participants were from Japan, Poland, Thailand, and the United States.
